Practical Ways to Keep Learning
- Check out our store which has everything a student needs to get career ready and really understand the value of exploring the various career clusters.
- Keep reading and finding resources that will help you draw this connection between time management and career life. It may be helpful to learn more about specific careers to understand a day in the life and use that to help you bridge the connection to share with students.
- Check out what career clusters exist and the various jobs associated with them so that students can pick a career, explore further, and start to unpack why time management (in that career) is vitally important. Don’t forget to look at our own course offerings that have this built in for you!
- Turn this into an assignment ( a fun one!). Have students analyze case studies of successful professionals who attribute their success to effective time management. Bonus: those professionals can be people they look up to at home and in the community. Drawing that personal connection makes the assignment that much more relatable and powerful to the student.
- Do not forget to share experiences and resources with other career coaches.

Think Skill Tools was founded by Dr. Danielle Reid. Having no choice but to hang up her lab coat as an Environmental Health Toxicologist and Industrial Hygienist, after having her first child, she pivoted into a space where she could have the best of both worlds – loving on her kids and serving others in the education sector. She dove head first into the world of educational content development and homeschooling. Walking in her purpose (and having fun with it!), she is on a mission to create resources that make career education (at home and in the classroom) the norm and way less complicated to navigate.
