It really depends on the age and your learner's needs. We suggest you observe the questions your learner naturally asks about career education and use that to help decide if they are into basic discovery or full blown, deep-dive exploration.

Absolutely! And as a career coach you should embrace the overlap. This is why our resources are designed to be flexible. Something that you pick in the discovery route may actually complement what your student is learning or reading in the exploration route. It may also be part of a unit study journal.

We firmly believe in equitable education. Learning should not be based on social status. But in reality, it often is and especially when it comes to career education. Our goal is to support all learners on their career journey.

That is the beauty of our unit studies! They are very flexible and give you the choice as to where they fit within your curriculum. We vote that you choose a unit study journal that suits you, your learner, and your learner's interests. Don't stress over what order to administer these unit studies. 

We believe strongly that there is a science to how you learn. Your brain goes through specific steps, while learning, which ultimately promotes long term memory retention. In order to tap into this process, you need to actively engage in what you are learning. One of the best ways to do this is by journaling! As a bonus - this is career education where the information you learn may help you years later. Capturing that information in a journal for learners to refer back to is what makes our unit studies very purposeful and functional.
