When AI exploded onto the K-12 scene it was very evident that many schools were not prepared from a policy perspective. In higher education, I could see that many universities were quickly developing and adopting policies to not only support college students who use AI but also professors who are now grading AI-generated content. What do we do as career coaches when the playing field for regulations and policy-making is all over the place? That is what I explore in this e-ready note.

My name is Dr. Danielle Reid. I founded Think Skill Tools as a way to be of service to people through my amazing love for all things education. Having no choice but to hang up my lab coat as an Environmental Health Toxicologist and Industrial Hygienist, after having my first child, I pivoted into a space where I could have the best of both worlds – loving on my babies and serving others in the education sector.
