Description
Career exploration is not always attached to a lesson plan or textbook. Sometimes the best form of career exploration happens naturally when students are at home, in class, or in their community. Many of the activities performed in these environments lead to ideas that may someday be a student’s future career.
Help students explore careers “naturally” with this guided seatwork set. Students will think of an activity or hobby and work through the activity to see how this can support their job search. They will practice identifying transferable skills, conducting keyword research, and using their research to perform a strategic job search.
Worksheets are fillable. Students can complete them directly on their devices (e.g. tablets, phones, computers). Access to a PDF viewer is required to use this feature.
Seatwork activities are designed to be flexible for all learning spaces – at home, in the classroom, in a microschool, as part of group work, and more!
